Here are links to some of the many helpful free or low-cost information sources available to consumers online. These resources are organized by general topic and then alphabetically.

But a word of warning... The financial world is full of con artists, greedy financial institutions, esoteric language, legal rules, and misleading methodologies so watch your backside.  If it seems too good to be true guess what... it is!

  • FinAid.org was established in the fall of 1994 as a public service. This award-winning site has grown into the most comprehensive source of student financial aid information, advice and tools -- on or off the web.

  • SavingforCollege.com. Independent and objective information on different ways to save and pay for college; plenty of interactive tools.

  • Xap.com. Its “Get Money” feature offers plenty of help in calculating and finding financial aid.
